Guilt VS SHAME - 5/29/18
Updated: Nov 25, 2020
Guilt equals conviction, while shame equals condemnation. Guilt draws you to God, but shame pushes you away from God. Guilt convicts you of your wrongs, while shame continually reminds you of your wrongs. Guilt tells you you've made a mistake, but shame says you are a mistake. Jesus came to convict but the Devil comes to condemn. Understanding the voice of conviction will spare you a life of condemnation. Listen and obey the voice of conviction and you will no longer have to deal with the voice of Shame.
