LOVE - 5/31/18

What I've come to see a lot is people trying to earn or deserve God's love. You can't buy it. It is absolutely free. There's nothing you can do to make God love you any more than He already does. You can't give enough money, you can't pray enough prayers, you can't lead enough people to Christ, and you can't feed enough of the poor. You name whatever it is that you are doing that makes you feel that God loves you more because you do these things and it hasn't earned you one more ounce of his love. But understanding that He loves you for who you are and not for what you do will make you want to do these types of things because of His great love.
